Jayna knew she wanted to be an entrepreneur from a very young age and has started and sold two successful businesses.  She grew up working in her father’s electrical engineering business and attended Georgia Tech, graduating with a B.S. in Business Management.

Shortly after graduation she and her brother purchased a fledgling collectible grading company, Collectible Grading Authority, which was the first grading company to focus on collectible toys and action figures.  The company expanded into acrylic case manufacturing and video game grading and is widely regarded as the gold standard in collectible toy grading.  CGA was sold in October 2021 to Diamond Comics Distributors after twenty successful years in business.

While remaining a board member and shareholder at CGA before the sale, Jayna also started Alexis’ Suitcase, a multi-location consignment and e-commerce business which she ran profitably for twelve years before selling in 2017.  Alexis’ Suitcase was frequently named “Best of Atlanta Consignment”, one of the “Elite 100” Atlanta businesses, and was featured on CNN and Good Day Atlanta.

Jayna worked at Lyft as a regional Operations Manager where she managed the operations and strategy for the Southeast.  Highlights included developing and executing SuperBowl operational plans and managing the largest Flexdrive fleet in the nation which included the first fleet of electric vehicle rentals.  She was promoted to the Lyft Express Drive strategy team where she focused on supply and demand forecasting, product improvements, demand generation, and leading strategic growth initiatives on a national level.
